our customers for all the hardware and software products that we supply. The Professional Services covers:
Project Management
Planning
Having great experience in developing, implementing and managing big projects, Intech Systems can set
your supply chain management system in an effective way. For large projects we assign a project manager
who becomes a member of the client project team. The project manager is in charge of project planning and
implementation stages.
Organizing
The success of your project depends on the quality of organizing the relevant personnel and resources to
implement an RF installation or DSD project on a timely manner. Intech Systems can provide on a timely
manner demo units for testing, advise you on the project stages and when equipment will be delivered and
how the roll can be implemented.
Evaluation & Design
Our specialists can make software and hardware evaluation and design the RF or RFID networks.
Radio & RFID Site-survey
Intech Systems has many years of experience in carrying out radio site survey at the customer's location
where the RF equipment will operate. The site-survey helps to determine the optimal places, quantity and
configuration for wireless access points. Also it helps to eliminate environmental effects.
System installing and running
Our specialists are able to install all the various components of your RF, RFID, networks and computers and
they will configure and test these devices. Then they run the system to verify that all the equipment is running
optimally.
Training
Customer training focuses on the needs of users, their supervisors and IT personnel involved in implementing
and managing the AIDC installation.
Service support
Intech Systems provides comprehensive service support
including:
- Normal and extended Service Contracts - Repair Services provide repair alternatives to Service
Contracts for Intermec data collection equipment.
- Equipment Maintenance at customer’s site - SiteCare provides for periodic on site monitoring (Site
survey & Site visit) and preventative maintenance of a customer’s critical data collection devices.
- Telephone and E-mail support.
Accredited Repair Centre
Intech Systems has a fully fledged Technical Support department which is capable of providing Technical
and Service support to our customers. Intech Systems is an Accredited Intermec Global Services Partner
(IGSP) which gives it the capability to do all warranty and after warranty repair and maintenance service
in-house in the Moscow Service centre.
IGSP Accreditation
An IGSP accredited partner is able to provide the same level of service support as Intermec Technologies i.e.
all warranty repairs and post warranty repairs will be carried out by Intermec trained and certified
professionals. Each year 2 Intech Systems’ engineers attend service training conducted by Intermec. This is
mandatory to keep the IGSP status.
As an IGSP Intech Systems has to also own a Text Fixture supplied by Intermec Technologies. The Text
Fixture allows us to diagnose the problems in any Intermec mobile device, printer or scanner. The Test
Fixture also allows us to repair, reinstall firmware and MAC address to factory settings or last version. All
repaired equipment will then labeled using a resolution (400dpi) barcode printer with the most current
information and barcode.
Intech Systems also has a large variety of spare parts stock for various equipments and this allows for quick
repair turnaround time.
Overall for our customer this translates to quality repair done on time and at the lowest possible cost.
Warranty
Most of our equipment carries a 1 year manufacturer's warranty. If required we can provide extended
warranty up to 3 years. As an Authorised Service Centre we can provide warranty services from our service
centre in Moscow. We also offer maintenance, repair, software flashing and configuring. For out of warranty
equipment we provide maintenance contracts suitable to our customers’ needs. While repairing, we use only
original spare parts from device manufacturers.
